Life Skills and Family Empowerment
The power of choice and understanding that choosing positive life skills, will decrease the need to engage in high risk activities as listed. Parents practicing positive examples of life skills before their teens to the young adults, does make a positive impact on that individuals like and their choosing the healthier diet, more physical activities, healthy relationships, involvement in positive communities activities in their area, can all be looked at as small steps to a more successful life and positive family relationships.
Through intervention and prevention several objectives goals can be achieved for each client and their families. Providing workshop training, parent matters workshops, groups sessions, one-on-one sessions. Prevention workshops in physical fitness to decrease in low self-esteem needs due to overweight (obesity) participation in community in the park fitness days. This will be done by getting them moving towards more positive choices for their life. mentally, physically and spiritual wellness.
J Peter TWO can provide support, guidance and intervention in working with children and young adults
facing challenges of low self-esteem, and other identity crisis issues. Our goal is to help families heal.
Prevention, Therapeutic Intervetion and Physical Awareness to the at-risk teen and young adult.
Services provided are groups, one-on-one, presentation on awareness for the parent, guardian and/or legally responsible person.
Group sessions held Thursday and Friday evening 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
period for 10 sessions attendance must be completed in order to receive a certificate of completion for teen court requirement.
One-on-one sessions are helded on Friday 4:15 p.m to 5:15 p.m. for a 10 session - in order to receive a certificate of completion for school counselor, probation officer, teen court coordinator, parent, guardian and/or legal responsible person.
Awareness/Prevention to parents, guardian and/or legal responsible person
by appointment 2 class sessions within the home such as eg.( literature, law enforcement presentation, Hot-line and Link resource call list).

- Spend special time with your child. Plan family activities together, so your child feels involved and is interested in the activity
