The mission of our agency is to provide support, strengthening skills and behavioral tools using the Community Support Services, Intesnsive In-Home Services, and Group Facilitator services for persons with mental health illness.

J. Peter Inc., was founded upon the belief that children and young adults with mental illness deserve to live in their own homes and communities whenever possible, and that out-of-home placements can and should be avoided if community supports are appropriate and available.

We further believe that Community Support Services should be Person and Family-Centered, driven by the wishes and goals of the client and/or their family. When there are sufficent natural supports (church/ extended family/ community helpers) the client's own home and community provides the best environment to learn and achieve long-term independence and self-sufficiency.
